A calm architectural response to waterfront living.

Dewan Architects + Engineers is the lead architect for Seamont, responsible for the concept design and for leading the design and subconsultant coordination across all design phases. From the outset, the aim was to keep the architecture clear and calm, while ensuring the design could be coordinated and delivered without losing its original intent.

Seamont is a waterfront residential development set along the shoreline of Shams Abu Dhabi on Reem Island. The project is shaped by its coastal setting, with a focus on light, views and a sense of ease in everyday living.

The development comprises 497 homes, including apartments, penthouses and townhouses, with one- to four-bedroom layouts. Homes are arranged to maximise daylight and sea views, with open interiors and private outdoor spaces that extend living areas towards the water.

The architecture is deliberately understated. Massing and layouts are designed to sit comfortably along the shoreline, opening towards the sea and allowing spaces to move naturally between inside and out. The intention was to create a composed presence that supports long-term liveability rather than visual noise.

Branded by Marriott’s Autograph Collection, Seamont offers a hotel-inspired residential experience, including Bonvoy™ Membership and global resident privileges. The project is being delivered by Royal Development Holding in collaboration with SAAS Properties, with handover anticipated in Q4 2028.
