Designing for Bio Living in the Heart of Meydan

Dewan Architects + Engineers is the Lead Design Consultant for Keturah Reserve, a wellness-focused residential development located in Dubai’s Meydan district. The project introduces a region-first concept of Bio Living, which incorporates nature into the built environment to improve the physical, mental and emotional health of its occupants. Comprising 93 townhouses, 90 villas, and 533 apartments across six residential buildings, Keturah Reserve is designed to create the perfect synergy between the interior design, architecture and landscape, in complete respect of the surrounding ecosystem.

Working closely with the client team and specialist consultants, Dewan’s design approach enhances the synergy between space and environment. Residential units feature double-volume interior spaces to encourage natural airflow and visual openness, while Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems support thermal comfort and energy efficiency. The architecture is designed to modulate natural light throughout the day - minimising heat gain, preserving daylight quality, and supporting occupant well-being through circadian-responsive lighting.

With infrastructure works now complete, the project has entered its enabling works phase, during which Dewan is also serving as Construction Supervision Consultant. Full completion is scheduled for Q3 2027. Keturah Reserve stands as an ambitious benchmark in the integration of architecture and wellness, setting a precedent for future developments across the region.
