Dewan Award 2019

Al Umma Park Competition

Dewan Award is the newest award to be established as part of the Tamayouz Excellence Award program of championing and celebrating the best of architecture in Iraq and around the world. The Dewan Award is a international award focuses on proposing designs responding to local challenges in Iraq. This prize aims to introduce Iraq and its challenges to the world and invite them to submit their ideas and to establish an uncompromising open source of ideas tackling social issues in Iraq through design and present it to responsible authorities. This award was established through a fund allocated by Dewan Architects and Engineers and Mr Mohammed Al Assam, the founder and managing partner at Dewan, after being involved for several years with Tamayouz Excellence Award.

The BIM Evaluation

The current global environment is leading us to explore and define smarter ways of working by combining our skills with new and ever changing technologies. Based on Dewan vision & future plan to comply with today’s architecture, engineering, and construction industry Dewan BIM academy prepared a skills assessment and survey which will help all the teams to capture the knowledge of Revit, BIM workflows and standards. Step by step, the teams will master the techniques of each level. Dewan BIM team will walk you painlessly through every phase of the use of each stage up to practical levels. Our assessments easy to administer and use, and includes automated marking with helpful feedback and scoring notes to deliver actionable training needs analysis. we choose 3 types of assessments for 3 different levels. and one more additional level for users who have ability to share the experience and spread the BIM awareness all over our offices.


The bronze user is our beginner level and the bronze user will be rated as Beginner BIM user


The Silver user need to pass the bronze & Silver exam, the certified user will be rated as Intermediate BIM user


The Gold user need to pass the 3 exams for beginner, intermediate & Advanced. The Gold user will be rated as Advanced BIM user


Platinum user is the BIM Ambassador level, The Platinum user need pass all exams with the highest marks and also understand how to share and spread the knowledge
