THE FOUNDATION
Around 1972, my parents were admitted into faculty of fine arts, one in department of architecture and the other graphic department. They got married after their graduation in 1977. These sets of genes brought forth a son that inherited their passion for both Architecture and graphics. I chose to follow their path, as the first son, by attending the same university of fine arts in 1999. Ever since my childhood, I had always preferred to draw from an architectural perspective and historical view mind set. These traits I exhibited made it clear to my parents that I was different in a way to the majority.
DEVELOPMENT AND STRUCTURE
In high school, I began to learn about architectural software. This was due to the ever-growing eagerness to explore new things related to architecture, also to support my father in his work. My father had a marble and granite factory. He was also a contractor which made it a unique natural advantage and opportunity to work during school breaks. I gained a lot of experience and was able to nurture a passion that was fully recognized and supported. Growing up in a setting like this was the perfect path for me to achieve my goals. I then gained admission into the university and began to work with my Uncle who was also an architect, despite still working with my Father. I firmly believe that education alone without practical experience amounts too little. After graduation, I worked for a year in Egypt. I traveled to Qatar and then headed to Dubai where I have chosen to stay till date.
CONSTRUCTING THE FUTURE
I initially started working in local companies where I got my first taste of large projects. I joined the staffs of Burthill; an international firm known for its large-scale projects and began to discover a new world of architecture; one that I have always dreamt of. Working as a designer in the tallest twin towers (Abraj Tatweer)was a great experience that played a pivotal part in changing my vision and direction in architecture.
Working as a BIM Manager, Designer and part-time TTA at Ajman University opened new opportunities every day that challenged my ideas and develop my skills. I believe my experience with both Design and BIM completes my architectural character and adds values thereby creating opportunities where I can explore new challenges to develop my designs and the skills. Having knowledge of both BIM & Design made me think BIG and deliver special designs that reflect to the community and people.
The Future belongs to those who believe in the power of their dreams
It would be very unfair if I start to post my final works by only giving credit to myself and without mentioning all the persons that help me to develop, correct, polish and improve on my work. To start with I would like to thank my first inspiration in life they are my Parents, I can’t thank them enough. Secondly I would like to thank my colleagues. We made possible the elaboration of a high quality project. To all my design Directors, from them I learned a lot in my entire journey as an Architect. The last but not the least is that I cannot stop mentioning my wife as I really appreciate the help that she had always given me when I needed them.
